Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Local!  USPS Standard Shipping within the continental United States is free. 

Orders are processed Monday through Friday.  Any orders submitted on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays will be processed the next business day.   Please allow 1-3 business days to process your order.  Once your order is processed and shipped you will receive email confirmation with your tracking number.  If you have any questions or concerns about shipping, please email happycustomer@shopthelocalboutique.com and we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

The Local Is Not Responsible For

  • Delivery Delays – The Local is not liable for delivery delays.  If your package is not delivered by the estimated delivery date, please contact the shipping courier as they are responsible for meeting the delivery deadlines.  We will not refund additional shipping charges if the shipping courier fails to meet their estimated delivery date.
  • Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Packages – The Local is not responsible if a package is shipped back to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the shipping address is entered correctly.  If The Local receives your package back, you will be contacted as to how you would like to proceed with receiving your package.  You will be responsible for any additional shipping fees.  We will hold your merchandise for 14 days.  After 14 days the merchandise will be donated to charity and no credit will be issued back to you.
  • Lost or Damaged – The Local is not responsible for products that are lost or damaged in the mail.  Once an item ships from The Local, the shipping courier is responsible for the packages.  The Local is happy to assist you with any issues; however, you must contact the courier directly before contacting The Local.
